The KQ2 is a single coil powerhouse! These machine are strong and versatile with great balance, compact size and a proven reputation. They can be set up as anything from super fast, fine liners to slow and slappy, traditional style shaders.
This one is a versatile, everyday liner with a snappy hit and a springy, forgiving drive for pushing 3-9 liners.Ā It runs around 117hz loaded for lining at 7.5v but can be turned down to 5.5-6v for smooth, controllable dot whipping.Ā This is made possible by the long spring setup and the larger capacitor which give it a unique range and quality
It's rocking a sick colour scheme with a fluro pink and pastel yellow frame, a heat blued armature bar and a variety of coloured components. A Sprague electrolytic capacitor is thrown in the mix and it also has one of my super strong and versatile guillotine tube vice for clamping on all your tubes, steel or plastic.
